Add a hybrid system to the engine and a 200hp electric front drive setup to make it AWD and you will have higher than Hellcat combined output. Not saying it would be more fun to drive, but it would likely be faster to 150mph and a way to ease people into full EV. Adding a new engine, twin turbos, and hybrid tech is a recipe for disaster, adding
New RT owner here, coming from a dogwater Ecoboost Mustang. Just get the V8. I know it's the cliche advice in the Challenger community, but the main reason is the noise. I have a 19 (so active exhaust), the way it sounds when flooring it in a tunnel makes your spine shiver. The sound makes it all worth it, the extra power is also nice.
So I’m in the market for a Challenger. Ideally I’d like a v8 model, but with gas prices being what they are, the v6 models are also somewhat tempting. (And much cheaper). So I guess my question is is the v6 even worth having, or do I only look for a v8 gas prices be damned.
